Sea Meadow Inn invites guests to experience a timeless ritual in a uniquely Cape Cod setting.
After a day spent at the beach, exploring Brewster, or enjoying the charm of Cape Cod, the sauna offers a simple invitation: slow down.
Inspired by Finnish sauna culture, this handcrafted wood-fired sauna creates a warm and welcoming space to relax, reconnect, and embrace the quieter side of summer evenings on the Cape. Step into the gentle heat, then return to the cool evening air, take a cold outdoor shower and feel its relaxing contrast.
Whether you're seeking a moment of calm before dinner, a restorative pause after a day of adventure, or simply a memorable experience, the sauna offers a unique addition to your stay.
❋ Private SessionsAfter booking your room, you will choose a 45 minute slot between 4 and 7pm. The owner of the Sauna Standard will be on hand to guide you through a private session.
❋ What to BringBring a bathing suit and flip flops. We will provide towels, robes, plenty of water and everything else you need for a memorable session!
❋ Expert FacilitationLed by an experienced guide who will manage the wood-fired oven and humidity level as well as advising when it’s time to cool off between sessions.
❋ Share the ExperienceThe Sauna fits up to 5 people, feel free to invite friends to also stay with you at the Inn and share your session time!

Are There Risks?
As with all activities, there are risks as well. If you have recently had a stroke or heart attack, are pregnant, are over 65 or have pre-existing health conditions, you should consult your doctor first.
To avoid dehydration, you shouldn't consume alcohol before your session, and should drink plenty of water before, during and after.Every 15 minutes or if you begin to feel light-headed, you should step out of the sauna to cool down. A cold shower or even just the cool evening air helps your body recalibrate before you re-enter the saunaStill have questions?
