If you follow this blog, you know that we are avid bike riders and love the Cape Cod Rail Trail. But, there are others of you who want to keep your feet on the ground and walk. While the Cape Cod Rail Trail is certainly a comfortable walk with mostly flat terrain, there is the drawback of having to return the way you came.

HikeCapeCod

We came across this website recently for HikingCapeCod.com and it is a great resource for hikers of all abilities and interests.  We especially liked the comprehensive list of many Cape Cod towns and their best trails.  The trails are mapped out using Google Maps, allowing you to move the map around, zoom in and out, and switch between map and satellite views. The blue marker on each map signifies the beginning of the trail; if you click on it you can get driving directions to the entrance.  We travel the Cape all the time, but certainly can’t know every nook and crannie, so a resource like this is great.

We also have received a brand new hiking trail brochure for Brewster which are available in the foyer when you visit.
