If you’ve been reading our blog, you’ll notice that the Cape Cod Rail Trail is an innkeeper and guest favorite. The Rail Trail is one of the best known Cape Cod activities. This 22 mile bicycle-walking trail takes you through some beautiful scenery, alongside lakes and ponds, and has some great eating spots. For folks who like to bike this Cape Cod attraction, but don’t want to pack their bikes, we now offer a Bicycle Beach Weekend package.
These packages are available at the Sea Meadow Inn when the Rail Trail Bike Shop opens to the end of June, then again after Labor Day until the Rail Trail Bike Shop closes. Because the shop’s opening and closing varies depending on the weather, these packages can only be reserved by telephone. We will make your reservation for the bicycles and let you choose from our picnic lunch menu prior to your arrival.
The Bicycle Beach Weekend includes 2 nightsin our historic Cape Cod inn in a king room with private bathroom, 4 great breakfasts, 2 bicycle rentals for one day (from pickup to 6pm) including helmets, a picnic lunch for your trek and a backpack to carry it in. You’ll also receive a complimentary custom made Rail Trail map from Brewster (Route 137) to Nauset Beach. Or, map out your own route which we’ll be happy to assist you with.
The Bicycle Beach Weekend package in the spring is $425.00 with the autumn package at $450.00 (all taxes are included).
